Day by Day

Itinerary

1

Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh — The Gathering

05:00 AM — Board the AC Luxury Tempo Traveller in Delhi; plush pushback seats and an early morning highway. 01:00 PM — Arrive in the yoga capital of the world and check into a premium property in the heart of Tapovan. The vibe: cafe-hop over the Ganges, cross the iconic suspension bridges, and witness the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Meals: dinner included.

2

Day 2: Rishikesh to Govindghat — Deep into the Garhwal

06:00 AM early start to beat the mountain traffic — a highly scenic, winding drive tracking the emerald waters of the Alaknanda River. Strategic pit stop at Devprayag to witness the massive confluence where the Ganges is officially formed. 04:00 PM — Govindghat (1,828 m), gateway to the Valley of Flowers; check into a clean mountain lodge. Tonight's altitude sleep is critical for acclimatization. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

3

Day 3: Govindghat to Ghangaria — Hitting the Trail

07:00 AM — Priority shared jeeps bypass the dusty road construction on a quick 4 km drive to Pulna Village, the official trailhead. The trek: 10 km at a steady, conversational pace alongside the roaring Pushpawati River through dense oak and pine forest. 02:00 PM — Ghangaria Base Camp (3,048 m), where we have secured the best available multi-sharing trekker lodges in this remote settlement. Rest, hydrate and prep your gear. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

4

Day 4: Valley of Flowers — Alpine Acclimatization

08:00 AM — Step into the UNESCO World Heritage Valley of Flowers. September offers incredible post-monsoon clarity and the final weeks of the rare alpine bloom. The strategy: the valley trek is relatively flat, making it perfect active recovery to prime your lungs and legs for tomorrow's steep summit push. 03:00 PM — Return to Ghangaria for hot tea, swapped stories and an early bedtime. Tomorrow, you summit. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

5

Day 5: Shri Hemkund Sahib — The Summit Push

05:00 AM — Gear up for the ultimate test: a steep, relentless 6 km vertical climb to 4,329 m (14,200 ft). Break through the cloud line to the world's highest Gurudwara and a pristine, mirror-like glacial lake — a holy dip, the immense serenity of the Ardas, and steaming Khichdi Langar. 01:00 PM — Begin the descent to Ghangaria; trekking poles are strongly recommended to protect your knees. Meals: breakfast and dinner, plus Langar lunch at the summit.

6

Day 6: Ghangaria to Rudraprayag — The Descent & Celebration

06:00 AM — With the hard work behind you, trek the 10 km trail downhill back to Pulna Village. 11:30 AM — Priority jeeps to Govindghat, then load into the Luxury Tempo Traveller and begin the drive down the mountains. 04:00 PM — Check into a premium riverside hotel in Rudraprayag for a grand farewell dinner celebrating a successful, ethical mountain expedition. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

7

Day 7: Rudraprayag to Delhi — Homeward Bound

07:00 AM — A hearty breakfast, then the final descent through the foothills, leaving the Himalayas behind. Late evening — arrive back in Delhi with a profound sense of achievement, lifelong memories and a new network of incredible friends. Meals: breakfast included.
